Manufacturing Notes
This standard consists of a 2mL flame sealed ampule containing the Custom Volatiles Spiking Concentrate and a 10-grams of Matrix soil. This standard has been prepared as a concentrate and must be diluted prior to analysis. As the diluted standard is not stable, it must be analyzed immediately after the concentrate is diluted. Dilution InstruEmis:Weigh 10.0 grams of the Custom Volatiles Soil Matrix into a sparger cell. Carefully snap the top off the Custom Volatiles Spiking Concentrate ampule. Using a ten-microliter syringe, inject 10μL of the concentrate into the matrix by placing the syringe tip slightly below the surface of the matrix in the sparger cell. Immediately complete other sample preparation steps such as adding water to the sparger cell and closing the apparatus according to your analytical procedures. Complete the analysis per your normal procedures. The certified values apply to the diluted sample after following these dilution instructions

Minimum sample size to maintain homogeniety is 10 gram.

The sample has been heat sterilized.
Storage
The sample should be stored in a dark dry location.lt has been determined to be stable for the duration of the expiration date. After sub-sampling replace cap securely and store remaininj sample at 4°C(Room temperature).
Stability and shelf life after opening must be determined by the user, taking into account sampling frequency/volume and all local conditions.
